Dusk is the darkest stage of twilight, after sunset and before night. It is when the world slips into silhouette and ambiguity. You can still navigate yourself through your surroundings, but cannot be certain of what you are seeing. Objects and points of reference are reduced to suggestion. All that is left is memory and instinct.
